Gaurav Mahajan is an engineer with an MBA in Marketing who built a successful corporate career as a consultant and in product management. Yet it was fatherhood — raising two wonderful young boys — that sparked his greatest venture. As a parent searching for the right education for his own children, Gaurav saw a gap: most programs taught what to compute, but never explained why.
That insight led him to step away from the corporate world and do something meaningful for his family and community — founding Enchanting Math Academy with a commitment to bringing the WHY behind the math to every student.
It started at the kitchen table — Gaurav teaching his son to calculate faster, think deeper, and ask why. What began as everyday practice soon extended to Olympiad prep, where sharpening problem-solving instincts became just as important as getting the right answer. That journey sparked the idea for something much bigger.
Most programs teach how to solve — we teach why it works. Rooted in Vedic Math's intuitive number sense and expanded across the full grade-level curriculum, our 360° approach ties every concept to real-life application. When students understand the reasoning, the formula becomes unforgettable — and the subject becomes something they actually enjoy.
As students progressed through our math track, the natural next step was SAT/ACT prep. We expanded into this space with a focused approach: arming students with targeted strategies, conceptual depth, time management, and faster solving techniques — skills that textbooks alone don't teach but tests absolutely demand.
Today we offer ELA, Algebra through Calculus, and standardized test prep — all under one roof, all grounded in the same belief: understand the WHY, and everything else follows.
